Smash Afrika Mdutyulwa is a South African broadcaster who hails from Bloemfontein, where his love for radio and multimedia was ignited on campus radio. In 2012, he joined YFM and worked at the station for 5 Years. He broke into national TV on Mzansi Magic and Channel O where he hosted Massive Music till March 2023. In 2018, he moved to national radio and joined 5FM. He hosted 5Nights, weekdays 7-10 pm where he was inspiring and lending a voice to the youth of South Africa till March 2023.

Smash Afrika is the founder of African Urban Nights. An event created to celebrate African music, art, food, and fashion in urban spaces.
He is the co-founder of the start-up fashion brand October Thirty First.

Charity

Smash Afrika has been appointed as ACFS’ Ambassador to drive the ACFS Charity Gold Day in aid of supporting the survival needs of vulnerable children across ACFS’ programs.
